I am Cristin M. Dillard, a professional educator and instructional technology leader. I am a dedicated educator and instructional leader serving in the field of education since 2007. Currently, I am serving as the Education Specialist for Library Media with the Alabama State Department of Education.
As the Technology Integration Coach, I strive to collaborate with classroom teachers, instructional partners, and library media specialists to evaluate the integration of technology based on the learning goals, the enhancement technology integrate may bring to the instruction, the needs the technology tools may met for their students, and to use technology to transform instruction and learning. I work with nine schools, grades P-12, and across all content areas. In addition to coaching role, I am responsible for developing and planning professional development district-wide for technology integration, collaboratively writing grants to assist with expanding technology, and creating upper elementary STEM enrichment opportunities to promote computer science. After setting a goal to obtain Google Certified Educator levels 1 and 2, I have since coached at least 20 Enterprise City Schools educators to become Google Certified Educators Levels 1 and/or 2. My professional goal is to not only continue helping other educators to obtain Google Certified Educator status but also to successfully pursue my Google Certified Trainer status by the end of 2018. I am a driven individual who is very passionate about integrating technology and transforming instruction. |
